
With Linux and Valve teaming up together to make a new console that will bring PC gaming into the living room. The Xi3 Piston ,or Steam Box, will be a powerful but compact and quiet gaming PC that will be Linux-based. The release date for the Xi3 Piston will be released around December for about $1,000 and will cost around $750 more if you get it with a 512 GB hard drive. The Xi3 isn't posing a major threat to Sony nor Microsoft and sense its something new who knows what will happen.
